2025 LHS Alumni Scholarships

 

Lunda Technical/Vocational Alumni Scholarship-deadline April 12th, 2024

Alumni scholarships will be awarded to Lincoln graduates who have completed at least one year of post–secondary school at technical or vocational university and intends to return to school in the fall.  Students will be eligible to receive the scholarship more than one time. There are five scholarships of $2,000 available to both current Lincoln seniors and alumni.

Please use the LHS Alumni Scholarship Application. The LHS Alumni Application should be submitted to the Lincoln HS Counseling Office no later than 8:00 am on Wednesday, April 16th.

 

Al Brenengen Memorial Scholarship-deadline April 16, 2025

Seniors and alumni pursuing a degree in education at a two or four-year college or university. Students will be eligible to receive the scholarship more than one time.

Please use the LHS Alumni Scholarship Application and submit to Lincoln HS Counseling Office.

 

Class of 1970 Scholarship-deadline April 16, 2025

Alumni Scholarship awarded to a Lincoln graduate pursing a degree in education (elementary preferred).

Please use the LHS Alumni Scholarship Application and submit to Lincoln HS Counseling Office.

 

Leo Esser Memorial Scholarship-deadline April 16, 2025

Preference given for Elementary Education Majors.

Please use the Leo Esser Memorial Application and submit to Lincoln HS Counseling Office.

 

Humbird Community Club-deadline April 16, 2025

Scholarship defined:  Each year one (1) scholarship will be awarded to a Lincoln graduate who has completed at least one semester of post –secondary school (either a technical school or four-year university) and intends to return to school in the spring/fall.

Criteria for selection:  There are no specific criteria, each application will be evaluated on its own merit.  There will be a strong preference to individuals who live in the Humbird area.  Previous Valedictorians and Salutatorians are not eligible to apply.

Meghan Powell Memorial Scholarship-deadline April 16, 2025

To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be a high school graduate from Lincoln High School attending a post-secondary school pursuing a bachelor’s degree.  Preference will be given to applicants pursuing a career in the field of education, however, the scholarship is open to any student no matter what their chosen career might be.

Robert "Knuckles" Johnson Memorial Scholarship-deadline April 16, 2025

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a graduate or alumni of Alma Center Lincoln High School
  • Be attending a Technical School
  • Preference is given to those pursuing further education in Construction, machining or welding.

Sarah Eisberner Memorial Scholarship-deadline April 16, 2025
QUALIFICATION: Two annual scholarships are to be awarded to two qualified students who have been accepted into a University or Technical College. The recipient must be a resident of Jackson or Clark County; or have graduated from high school at Lincoln, Alma Center or Black River Falls. If you are a high school senior who is a relative of a Black River Memorial Hospital or Krohn Clinic employee, you are welcome to apply and will be taken into consideration.

 

CRITERIA: The selection of the recipient will be based on their leadership in school and/or community activities as stated in the question portion of the application form.

Rousey Alumni Scholarship-deadline May 2nd, 2025

Each year one former graduate of Lincoln High School who intends to continue their

post-secondary education (either Technical School or four-year college) will be awarded

this scholarship to help pay for educational expenses.

Criteria:  

  • Graduate of Lincoln High School
  • One or more years of post-secondary education (minimum of 24 semester credits) with at least a 3.0 college GPA
  • Not a Wisconsin Academic Excellence Scholarship winner

Fred Trachsel Scholarship-deadline June 30, 2025

Applicants must have a Humbird address and successfully completed one year of post-secondary school. Preference will be given to education majors.
