FINANCIAL AID-FAFSA

Students may start submitting their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application on October 1st of 2022.
The student and one parent/guardian must create an FSA ID number in order to start the FAFSA application. Please see the FSA-ID Worksheet below for assistance.
Each post-secondary institution has specific priority deadlines for submitting the FAFSA.  Please visit the following link for each UW System school FAFSA priority deadline. https://uwhelp.wisconsin.edu/pay-for-college/about-financial-aid/

FAFSA Help Events:
College Goal Wisconsin is affiliated with a national event that provides free information and assistance to families who need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) the federally required form for students seeking financial aid, such as grants and loans. Completing the FAFSA is the first and most important step in qualifying for aid.
All in person events have been cancelled.  Parents and students may register now for virtual events to start in October.  Please visit https://collegegoalwi.org/ for more information and to register for an event.
Please see PowerPoint presentation below for additional help.
