Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. I am entering my 26 year teaching at Lincoln Jr./Sr. High and look forward to another year. I graduated from UW-LaCrosse with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education certified to teach grades 1-8. That degree has allowed me to teach many subjects at the 7th and 8th grade level. I also have my Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in reading from UW-Eau Claire. This year will take me on another new adventure taking course work so I will be certified to teach special education. I'm living proof that you are never too old to learn or go back to school.
I am married and have two adult children. My daughter Jessica has signed to join the National Guard and will be leaving in October for basic training. I look forward to seeing where her new adventure will take her. My son Issac is currently working for B&B electric deciding if he wants to become an apprentice. He finished 2 years at Chippewa Valley Technical College becoming certified in welding. Trixie our chocolate lab keeps me active and is tons of company. She is my walking and snow shoe partner. I enjoy sports, hiking, biking, sewing, reading, spending time with family and new adventures. I just wish there was more time to be able to enjoy those things.
