October 31st-THE COCA-COLA SCHOLARS PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors each year. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 28th class in 2016, the Foundation has provided over 5,700 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $60 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship. Students must have at least at 3.0 GPA at the end of their junior year to be eligible. http://www.coca-colascholarsfoundation.org/

November 4th-Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship-Applicants must be graduating high school students who intend to enroll in a postsecondary institution, which may be a public or nonpublic university, college or vocational/technical college. This is a highly competitive scholarship. Students must submit their completed applications to their principal not later than Thursday, November 4, 2016. All applications must be typed. November 30th- Elks National Foundation, Inc.-Most Valuable Student (MVS) The MVS Scholarship is available to high school seniors who are United States citizens. Applicants do not need to be related to a member of the Elks. Males and females compete separately and are judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need. Applications for the 2017 contest are available online at enf.elks.org/mvs

December 15th-AXA Achievement Scholarship: The AXA Achievementsm Scholarship provides over $1.4 million in scholarships to young people throughout the nation representing all 50 states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico. Students have the opportunity to receive a $2,500, $10,000 or $25,000 scholarship. In addition, for every student who wins a scholarship, a grant in the amount of $1,000 will be made to the winner’s school. December 18th-NFIB: Young Entrepreneur Foundation (YEF):Students must be entering freshman year at an accredited two or four-year university, college or vocational institute in the Fall of 2017 and who owns/operates an established business. This is a merit based scholarship. An application can be found at www.NFIB.com/YEA and click on the "Apply Now" link.

December 19th-The Engineers Foundation of Wisconsin: Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors who plan to study engineering at a four-year ABET accredited program leading to a baccalaureate degree in engineering and shall intend to enter the profession of engineering upon graduation. January 5th, 2017: GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program:

To be eligible for this award, applicants must:
  • demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship;
  • demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent);
  • be citizens of the United States of America;
  • be current high school seniors attending high school in the United States (students living on U.S. Armed Forces base and homeschooled students are also eligible); and
  • plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s
  • degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.

January 27th, 2017-Badgerland Financial Scholarship: To qualify, the child's dependent must be a current Badgerland Financial customer in good standing. The student must have a 2.0 GPA or higher. February 1st, 2017-WI Education Association Council (WEAC): Only high school seniors are eligible to apply, and only if a parent qualifies in one of these membership categories: an active WEAC member, an active retired member, or a parent who died while holding a WEAC membership. In addition, the student must rank in the top 25% of his or her class or have achieved a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (based on a non-weighted 4.0 scale) at the time of application, plan to pursue an education major or minor, and intend to teach in Wisconsin. February 1st, 2017-America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders: America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, partners with farmers to award rural youth $1,500 scholarships to support their studies in ag-related fields after high school. Farmers play a fundamental role in Grow Ag Leaders by promoting the opportunity to local students and endorsing applications. This year, more than a half-million dollars in scholarships are available to high school seniors and college students in rural communities across the country. February 1st, 2017-Wisconsin Professional Police Association: Any Wisconsin resident enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school in a course of study leading to a two- or four-year degree in police science, criminal justice, or a law enforcement-related field – which does not include law school – is eligible. Students need to complete an application (including essay), provide three letters of recommendation, submit a high school transcript and include a SASE. February 1st, 2017-Tri-County Communications Cooperative: TCC Inc. will again offer scholarships to the 2017 High School graduates who plan to further their education at a Technical College or University. Twenty-Five lucky graduates will receive $500.00 scholarships in a random drawing. The drawing will be conducted in February, scholarship recipients will be notified in writing and will be presented at our Annual Membership Meeting. February 14, 2017-WESTconsin Credit Union- The Credit Union is offering up to thirteen $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from the class of 2017. Online applications are now available for students to access. Students must have been a WESTconsin member since April 30, 2016 to qualify for a scholarship. Applications are available through their website at https://www.westconsincu.org/personal/student-savers/scholarship-program/and will be accepted through midnight on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

February 15th, 2017-WiRSA-Wisconsin Rural Schools Alliance: In recognition of the tremendous efforts put forth by Wisconsin’s rural schools to provide their students with quality education in an ever-changing environment, it is with pleasure that the Wisconsin Rural Schools Alliance (WiRSA) offers an annual scholarship program. The scholarship will be awarded annually to five graduating high school seniors: one from each of the four membership regions of Wisconsin as specified in the organization’s bylaws plus one additional scholarship statewide. There will be no discrimination made as to this scholarship based on race, color, religion, national origin or sex, either by WiRSA or participating member schools. February 28, 2017-Cousins Subs Wisconsin Sports Awards Scholarship Contest-Any high school senior who will be graduating in 2017, has a cumulative GPA of 3.5, has participated in a WIAA sanctioned sport and was involved in civic and/or community organization(s) or activities during their high school career (grades 9-12). March 1st, 2017-Better Business Bureau Students of Integrity Scholarship Award: Ten scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each will be awarded to students in the state of Wisconsin. To be eligible students must be a high school senior, have a 3.0 GPA or show academic improvement consistently over time and plan to attend a WI based accredited Higher Education Institution (two or four year). March 1st, 2017-Ashley Grants-in-Aid-The Program represents the company's support of academic excellence in American manufacturing and is a benefit to our employees to help assist their children to achieve their dreams. Students are eligible to receive a scholarship in the amount of $2,000. The scholarship applicant must be a high school senior, be a dependent of an Ashley employee and planning to enroll in an accredited technical school, college or university for an associate or bachelor degree program on a full-time basis in the fall of 2017. March 2nd, 2017-National Farmers Organization (NFO)- The NFO is sponsoring their annual Steve Pavich and Farm Kids for College scholarships for WI high school seniors interested in pursuing an education in agriculture. Applicants will automatically be eligible to win both scholarships by completing one application. Ag. majors could include: Agronomy, ag. business management, ag. chemical engineering, ag. education, ag engineering, ag. journalism, biochemistry, dairy sciences, entomology, food sciences. genetics, home economics, livestock or poultry sciences, natural resources or water resources management, nutrition, pre-veterinary medicine, rural planning and sociology, soil sciences, or a host of other disciplines that impact modern agriculture and rural life. March 3rd, 2017-CVTC Opportunity Scholarship-The CVTC Foundation is again offering scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to attend Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) starting in the Fall of 2017. Students must graduate from a CVTC district high school, be accepted into a program or pre-program at CVTC, have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and show initiative, desire and potential to succeed. M March 6th, 2017-The Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship is available to any high school senior enrolled or planning to enroll in any university, technical college, community college in the United States, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Agricultural Short Course Program. Students must have a background in the beef, veal, or dairy industry and be a resident of Wisconsin. Preference may be given to WCA member’s children and grandchildren and WCA junior members. March 31st, 2017-Clark County Community Scholarship Fund: The Clark County Community Scholarship Fund program is available to any 2017 high school graduate, whose primary residence (address) is located within Clark County, WI. Applicants must also have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and has been accepted for full-time enrollment (or is in the enrollment process) at an accredited university or technical school pursuing an associate or bachelor degree. March 31st, 2017-The GREAT Scholarship Program, Great Clips-Who says you can’t soar with shears? At Great Clips, we encourage you to show the world what you’re all about. To make it easier, Great Clips provides over $100,000 in scholarships and professional tools to cosmetology students each year! The scholarship award and professional tools are valued between $250 - $1,500. All applications must be received on the Site by March 31, 2017. March 31st, 2017-United Bank General Scholarship-United Bank awards up to five (5) General Scholarships in the amount of $500 to graduating high school seniors who are customers of United Bank meeting the requirements listed below. Scholarships are paid out to recipients upon completion of one semester of post-secondary education and enrollment for a second semester. Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
Student is a United Bank customer.
Student is a graduating high school senior.
Student is continuing their education at a 2 or 4-year school.

April 3rd, 2017-Marty Little WHTL Scholarship: To be eligible seniors must have earned a cumulative 3.0 grade point average and earned a minimum of two varsity letters as a player. Applicants must have a major or minor in broadcasting. Please see application and guidelines below.

April 10th, 2017-Badger Mining Corporation: Two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to students intending to pursue a degree in a mining engineering curriculum or environmental science. The two scholarships will be awarded to qualifying students from the Alma Center-Humbird-Merrillan, Blair-Taylor and Black River Falls School Districts. Please see details and application below.

April 15th, 2017-Partners of Black River Memorial Hospital: There are seven scholarships available this year.
Two Health Career Scholarships for $2,000 each, to third-year or above college students who have been accepted in a health related program at a non-technical college or university are available.

Two Technical College Scholarships for $1,000 each will be awarded to students who have been accepted in a technical college and pursuing a health career.

The $400 David and Donna Demask Certified Nursing Assistant Scholarship will be awarded to a student who has been accepted into a certified nursing assistant program.

The Mary Larkin Memorial Scholarship for $1,000 will be given to a student who has been accepted in a healthcare program at a technical college or a university, pursuing a patient-care health career.

BRMH Volunteen Scholarship: This scholarship is to be awarded to a qualified graduating high school student who has been accepted into a two- or four- year college, university or technical school, and has served as a Black River Memorial Hospital Volunteen. AMOUNT: The amount will be $1,000.00, payable on or before August 15 to a selected recipient.
Applicants must be residents of Jackson County, a graduate of a Jackson County High School or currently employed at a healthcare facility/agency in Jackson County for a minimum of one year. Please visit http://www.brmh.net/events/scholarships/ for more information and an application.

April 24th, 2017-Carrie Crystal Stuckert Memorial Art Scholarship: Interested candidates must possess extracurricular accomplishments and inspirational goals. Academically capable students must be enrolled as an Art Major at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States (this includes art therapy programs). All applicants must be U.S. Citizens. Recipient will be required to provide evidence of college acceptance before money is awarded. April 30th-AB NICHOLAS Scholarship Foundation: The AB Nicolas Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships based on need, academic achievement and character for high school senior basketball players and managers, both boys and girls, who plan to attend the University of Wisconsin school system.
